What's with the stone blade and the cut on Adam's leg? What is the story behind that? And the way that Eve's leg is kicked up and she is leaning over Adam seems to be a very aloof pose. Adam's posture looks more... troubled. The way that you have only hinted at any expression on Adam and we can only partially see his face, and see none of Eve's expression greatly add to the mystery of this image. Captivating! To me it is an interesting image by itself - however by titling it "Adam and Eve" that pumps up the curiosity about this image even more!

The scene doesn't really look like a Garden Paradise.

AFTER they clothed themselves.

God definitely put animal hides on them before he threw them out of Eden.

Thus... These could technically be just two random naked people.

I like how it humanises these figures, as opposed to the more traditional portrayals that never really convey any form of emotion between the two, and the hint of a story behind them in their posture.

Thank you for comment.
I see them (as a symbol of course) like this - we know how their story started, we know how their story ended, but we don't really know what their story really was like.

You're very welcome!
And yes, one of the sad things about religion, I'm afraid. Almost no one remembers to explore the humanity behind the people in it.

I don't really care about religion, but the mythology behind it (in terms of literature), is something I really like
